Tioman is a popular weekend destination and most resorts offer three day / two night packages that include the following, unless otherwise stated:

Accommodation on a sharing basis.
Return ferry transfers between Tioman and Mersing
All meals while on the island (two breakfasts, one or two lunches, one dinner and one barbeque dinner). These are usually a selection of local Malay, local Chinese and sometimes Western dishes served in a buffet style.
A snorkelling trip, excluding the rental of snorkelling equipment.

The difference in price is usually related to the quality of the accommodation and food as well as the destination and type of boat used for the snorkelling trip.

Surcharges apply for weekends and public holidays and can be between RM 10-50 per person. Children pay 50-80% of adult prices. Marine Park entry fees (adult/child –RM 5/2.50) are not included.
