On the hillside that hugs the small private beach of Panuba Bay, the chalets of the Panuba Inn resort balance atop boulders between trees and garden shrubs. This resort offers seclusion and the luxury of a private beach, without being too far removed from the restaurants, cafes and shops in the villages of Ayer Batang and Salang.

Every one of the chalets here has a balcony and a view of the crystalline sea below. There are a variety of accommodation options, from basic and very affordable fan-only rooms to the spacious “Super Durian” rooms. 

Bali Hai Divers, the on-site dive centre, does “everything in diving” and they pride themselves on being environmentally friendly. All types of courses and training are offered here, as well as wreck diving and weekend excursions on the fully equipped dive boat. Those that do not want to venture too deep can rent snorkelling equipment and snorkel in Panuba Bay or join one of the boat trips to Coral Island.

The restaurant serves a-la-carte as well as buffet meals and there are barbeque dinners on selected nights.

While the resort is less than 5 minutes by boat from Ayer Batang Village, the regular Tioman Ferry can stop at the Panuba jetty on request.
