AYER BATANG CHALET
Ayer Batang Village is often called ABC, a name that it takes from this cluster of chalets. Lined up in a garden close to the beach, these wooden chalets are constructed in Malay style, with a number of air-conditioned units added recently.
The basic, fan-only chalets are simple while the newly built chalets are decked out in shiny wood and have modern amenities such as mini fridges and coffee and tea making facilities.
There is a restaurant serving local and western meals at the water side. A variety of activities can be arranged by the friendly staff of ABC, including guided jungle trekking by day and night and a sea taxi service. |
