Fifty semi-detached chalets are spread out in a large garden with the emerald jungle as backdrop. A short trail through the forest takes you to the Paya rock falls, where a gurgling mountain stream flows to the sea over smooth granite boulders.

The wooden chalets are well taken care of and offer a comfortable stay. The deluxe rooms are tastefully decorated with bamboo and natural colours. Solar panels are used for the hot water showers and air-conditioning ensures that you are cool on any hot tropical day. From any of the rooms it is less than five minutes’ walk to the palm-fringed beach and the clear water.

The restaurant serves local, Chinese and Western dishes. Packages include food here as well as snorkelling outings to the scenic Renggis Island and the marine park headquarters.
