Simple, yet comfortable semi-detached and standalone wooden chalets are in the shade of trees on the island itself. With modern furnishing, air-conditioning, verandas and, in some chalets, semi-outdoor showers, the chalets on the sands of the island have all the comforts that you need.

The more luxurious Mabul Water Bungalows stand on stilts in the turquoise sea and as you walk to your room you can spot starfish on the seabed below. The spacious bungalows are elegantly furnished and the utmost care is taken to ensure your comfort. Each of the units also have the complimentary use of two mountain bicycles, so that you can explore the island and quickly reach the resort facilities that are on the island itself.

These facilities include a swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and an ATEC centre for specialised diving equipment and training (see below for other facilities). The resort Spa is located amidst the water bungalows and the treatment rooms have spectacular views of the sea. There are two restaurants serving a wide selection of Malaysian and Western dishes as well as barbeque dinners and grills on certain nights.
