Seaventures (GPS N 4 15.221 E 118 38.005)
From the moment you get hoisted onto the main deck of the Seaventures rig, you know that you are in for a unique experience. What used to be a fishing rig has been converted into a diving resort and stands a couple hundred metres from Mabul island in the Celebes Sea. Even from the topmost of the four levels, you can spot large schools of fish swirling in the clear water below, not to mention the 360 degree views of the sea and the surrounding islands.
The 24 air-conditioned cabins each have their own bathroom and can accommodate two persons. There are also larger suite rooms that include a living area and are equipped with a television.
Packages here include three to four dives a day in the Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai area as well as three meals a day and a free flow of water, tea and coffee. Food is fresh and dinner is under the stars on the upper deck. For evening entertainment, there is a bar as well as a Karaoke room.
