Carved effortlessly into the hilly rainforest, this is 19 hole course is a gem. The impenetrable forest that hugs the narrow fairways not only makes the course arrestingly beautiful, but also means that it is tougher than most.

The 13th hole is arguably one of the most scenic, where you will tee off with the towering mountain at your back and the iridescent sea ahead of you. The signature hole of the course, however, is the 19th. Right on the beach: this par 3 has a gorgeous view to the neighbouring islands of Thailand.

Golf shoes and clubs can be rented but there are no caddies at the course. Green fees include hire of a two-person golf cart and guests of The Datai and The Andaman enjoy special rates.
