True Malaysian hospitality and heritage can be found in this resort. Thirty two houses, built in traditional Malay kampung (village) style, are set on a hilltop overlooking rice paddies. Surrounded by tall trees and lush tropical undergrowth, the vast 46 acres of the Kampung are peaceful and quiet, offering visitors a taste of the laid-back village life that can still be found on this island.
The rooms are spacious and have modern comforts in an age-old setting: Air conditioning, telephone, television and a mini bar are standard features in every room, and the weaved roofs and wood carvings are complimented by traditional fabrics and carpets (see room amenities below).
