SEA GYPSY VILLAGE RESORT
GPS: N 2° 13' 52.34", E 104° 3' 56.43"

Five acres of lush rainforest dotted with tall palm trees and 350 meters of golden coast, make this resort a perfect place for a break, where jungle and beach meet.

The resort has 22 simple sea facing rooms in a completely natural style. Each room is provided with mosquito nets, bath and beach towels, an overhead fan and beside lamps. Six of the chalets have a capacity for five persons, ideal for families. These family chalets have two rooms, one with a double bed and another with two bunk beds. Each chalet can also add one to four extra beds or matresses.

Various services are offered by Sea Gypsy: library, Satellite TV, a conference room, board games, jungle walk and a Kid’s Club.

The catering varies every day between Malay, Indonesian, Chinese, and Western style food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The resort can also cater for vegetarians and those with special dietary needs. Tea is served from 16:00-18:00. Sea Gypsy offers an exclusive selection of wines and cocktails ‘a la carte’ in their bar, open as long as any guest would like to drink. The bartender recommends the local Malaysian Melody on the rocks.

Excursions like a visit to the turtle sanctuary or island hopping are an interesting way to keep busy. Sea Gypsy is popular with expatriate families living in Singapore and Malaysia.
