On a stretch of curved white sand strewn with giant granite boulders, Bagus Place is a serene retreat. Whether you are planning a honeymoon, a romantic getaway or a holiday to truly reconnect with your family, this small resort provides the ideal setting.

It blends perfectly with its pristine scenery, and the management goes to great lengths to ensure that the human footprint here is as small as possible. This beautifully secluded resort only accommodates a maximum of 25 guests at the busiest of times, uses only filtered water from a nearby mountain source and recycles everything that can be recycled. Even the jetty is built of reclaimed wood in stead of concrete, so as not to damage the reef through its construction.

Five uniquely designed chalets all face the green sea and have a backdoor to the untouched jungle. The Rock House is the most secluded, built right on the giant granite boulders that line the shore. Next door, the Boat House is fashioned in the shape of a boat while the Tree House is amidst the branches and leaves of the rainforest trees. Big Chief and Eagle View are slightly bigger, with an extra bedroom to accommodate families.
