An enchanting resort in a secluded cove, Melina Beach has guests coming back time and time again. Apart from the simple chalets that are right on the beach or in the garden, there is also a tree house (complete with bathroom) and a “penthouse” that has luxuries like a Jacuzzi, a rooftop terrace and a private barbeque.

Dorm rooms are also available for school groups and are mostly used by environmental education groups – there is a turtle sanctuary on site and monkeys, monitor lizards and flying squirrels regularly pay a visit.

Snorkelling is a great way to keep busy as there are some pretty coral gardens just off the shore. Scuba diving and certification can also be arranged.

Apart from a selection of local dishes, the restaurant also serves delicious German food.
