At the edge of Ayer Batang village, at the foot of the hill, a small mountain stream flows over rocks and through lush greenery into the sea. The six chalets of Bamboo Hill balance atop the hillside, perfectly positioned to make the most of the view over the bay.

The rooms are simple, yet elegant and are cooled only by fans and fresh sea breezes. Each room has its own balcony and a beautiful sea view. At low tide, you can climb down to enjoy the small beach cove below.

In the reception lounge there is a well stocked mini-library, filled with books that have been left and exchanged by the many travellers that have passed through here. Various activities and excursions can be arranged for you by reception with operators from the village. You can also refill your water bottle with filtered water from the mountain stream.
