At the centre of Long Beach, a handful of simple terrace rooms stand in the shade of palm trees. In the centre there is a sea-facing restaurant, behind, dense green jungle and in front, the white sands of the beach and the turquoise sea. The single-storey terrace rooms are simple, but have all the necessary comforts such as air-conditioning and hot-water showers. All rooms also have a loft area with an extra bed, ideal for families with older children.
With only 13 rooms, Ayu Mayang is perfect for those that prefer smaller resorts, personalised service and a quiet holiday. Activities here include squid fishing, snorkelling, scuba-diving and beach volleyball. The resort also runs a conservation programme for marine turtles and will soon have their own hatchery.
