The resort is quiet and idyllically located between beach and steeply rising jungle. Apart from the MARA standard chalets, which can be found all over Tioman, there are also more comfortable deluxe rooms in big semi-detached chalets. All deluxe chalets are furnished with two double beds, some of them have great sea view. The beach is palm-fringed, fine sandy with a few pebbles and quite narrow. Unfortunately many stones come out at low tide. Because of that the Genting Bayu Resort had cleared the stones with a tractor and piled them up into two big heaps.
