Lalang Village ( Berjaya Tioman ) - Beach

Berjaya Tioman Beach Resort beach

The beach of the Berjaya Beach Resort is approx. 1 km long, so you will always find a quite place for relaxing. At the northern stretch of beach in front of the deluxe and the superior chalets it is more crowded, the beach is very wide and there are deck chairs under parasols. Though between the jetty and the Beach Bar in front of the main building with the reception the beach is narrower, but much more idyllic due to the many palm trees.

The beaches in front of the Berjaya Beach Resort have also the problem, that during absolute low tide stones and dead corals appear. To get into the water then, you have to walk over them. Southern of the jetty the beach stretches along the golf course and is occasionally interrupted by some rocks.

The beach ends here and because of the distance to the Resort you are probably alone. Then you get in approx. 1 km on a paved road across the golf course to the Berjaya Tioman Suites, which tower on the rocks like a huge castle.

Behind the Berjaya Tioman Suites you reach after another kilometre on an unpaved lane a completely secluded bay. A footpath at the southern end of the beach leads across an outcrop to the beach of Paya village. The last descent above big rocks is not easy, additionally you have to cross a small creek, which can swell pretty much after heavy raining.
