Situated on the Northern tip of Sibu Island in the state of Johor in Southern Malaysia. It is based on a Kenyan style village and has 21 charming thatched chalets dotted along its 350 metre long private beach. Each chalet has a fantastic sea view and is only a step away from the beach and coral reef.

A Relaxing natural Paradise!

All 21 Rustic sea view chalets are spread out spaciously along Rimba's private beach, these are equipped with overhead ceiling fans, 220v PowerPoint's, Mosquito nets, dressing room, attached bathroom and shaded verandah, all over looking the sea. Rimba's chalets blend naturally into their scenic environment and are designed with stylish comfort, privacy and relaxation in mind. A family chalet is available; this is a large partitioned chalet with separate 'hot water' bathrooms, whilst sharing a double balcony. The chalet comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 2 children and the room rate is most beneficial for children between the ages of 7to 11 years. For those couples that want to treat themselves we have the large Rimba suite. It is tucked away in its own cozy corner of the beach and is truly the ultimate in privacy along with the best sea view on Sibu. The suites jungle wood four poster bed and hot water make it ideal for honeymoon couples or anyone needing a peaceful, relaxing beach resort holiday in Malaysia.

The "Africa meets Asia" concept of Rimba is created with a stylish yet rustic atmosphere with the bar, restaurant and reading room being open to the sea breeze. These three meeting spots are decorated with a mix of Souvenirs from different parts of Africa and Asia and certainly have history from many a travelling experience....
